This picture was taken the day after Gabrielle's adoption finalized two years ago. Funny thing is that we didn't know it had finalized (outside of court) until after these photos were taken. Oh, how our family has grown since even then! Lovely, lovely. My dear friend from college took these amazing pictures of our family... show Cindy some love!

This is Jeremy and Levi meeting for the first time at a Coldstone Creamery. It melted my heart and solidified that this was our boy. Levi was 9 months old, and we were spending the day with him and his foster mom, who had flown across the state to meet us. He came home to stay about two weeks later. His adoption finalized one year ago next month.

The rascal twins (aka: Gabi and Levi) shared a room up until two months ago. They were always up to all sorts of antics during nap time. One day, I walked in the room to find Gabi had taken off her clothes (this was normally in Levi's wheel house, not Gabi's) and frantically put the dress back over her head when she heard me coming in to get them up. She was standing frozen in her crib like this when I opened the door. It's hard to laugh and be stern at the same time, let me tell you!

Here, moosie, moosie! This was last winter and our dog, Annabelle had a huge moose bed down right next to her dog house. The snow was so deep last winter, (record breaking) that the moose were really struggling to have enough to eat. It was very sad. Normally, moose are very hostile around dogs, especially those who bark incessantly at them. Annabelle came to realize that this weakened moose wasn't going to put up a fight, and they "hung out" together this way for hours right out our kitchen window.
